I know I am writing this e-mail to you long after the fact, however, the spirit really led me to respond to it. As an aspring baker myself, I can surely relate to what you are saying, although our situations are somewhat different.

I own a dessert catering business called Morika’s Southern Delights Dessert Company, a business which specializes in southern desserts such as sweet potato pies, cobblers, pecan pies, etc. I also have a very demanding full time as a legal secretary. Trying to find the energy to build a business after having worked all day is difficult to say the least. My daughter is grown, however, when I started this business, she was young. I have often put this business down to pursue other interests, however, I keep returning because baking is what I love to do. I therefore made up my mind that I would stick with this pursuit and make it happen! Reading your story is such an inspiration to me and has given me the courage to continue trying, as I cannot see myself doing anything else.

I am currently working on a website, attending business workshops, and my friend has given me the use of his kitchen. I hope to one day meet you, maybe I will stop by your bakery. However, if we never meet, I sincerely wish you and your family the best of luck.
